Kathryn Parsons
I am a visual artist and maker exploring themes of place, nature and histories, including habitat restoration and belonging.
Fascinated by human relationships to the land and nature, I seek to invite deeper connectedness and care by uncovering and sharing its true stories; re-storying both land and people.
I research my projects through walking, photography, reading and conversation, and then select materials that best convey the story.
Weaving together these rich layers of research and meaning, I create artworks for exhibitions, projects and commissions, often working with organisations who want their stories told.
Based in North-West Cambridgeshire, I’m an Artist In Residence with Langdyke Countryside Trust, and member of the GroundWork Network.
