Herbarium Finds
Nestled in Derby Museum's Herbarium, among specimens of lichen and mosses, are a tiny cluster of hand modelled porcelain plants and lichens created in 2016.
These little imagined specimens are inspired by British flora and fungi. Set in a herbarium drawer, they are treats intended to surprise, delight and intrigue the Museum's visitors. They among a number of artworks to be found in Museum's award-winning "notice nature feel joy" gallery.
